WHX Labs Dubai 2026 Concludes, Showcasing IVD Innovation


DUBAI, UAE – WHX Labs (formerly Medlab Middle East), the Middle East's premier medical laboratory exhibition, successfully concluded its 2026 edition from February 10 to 13 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Dacheng Biotech showcased its portfolio of IVD raw materials, including bulk reagents, calibration and control materials, polyclonal antibodies (sheep, rabbit), recombinant antigens, diagnostic enzymes, , and ELISA antigens&antibodies. The company also highlighted its reagent OEM capabilities. Reaffirming its commitment to "practicality, excellence, and mutual growth," Dacheng Biotech outlined its strategy to expand its R&D and service offerings to become a leading IVD raw material supplier.

WHX Labs serves as a pivotal business hub, connecting global manufacturers with key buyers and distributors, particularly from the African region. The 2026 event featured eight dedicated product sectors, spotlighting advancements in AI-driven automation, digital diagnostics, and precision testing across the entire laboratory ecosystem.The 2026 program emphasizes networking, dealmaking and knowledge exchange, with a robust scientific agenda featuring multiple CMEaccredited conference tracks and interactive workshops led by thought leaders in precision health, antimicrobial resistance and laboratory management. Flagship summits such as the Precision Health World Forum and AMR Leaders Summit are new additions, aimed at fostering collaboration across disciplines. 

Under the theme “25 years of laboratory innovation: Uniting Communities for Better Health”, WHX Labs Dubai showcases the latest advancements in diagnostics, laboratory devices, reagents and healthcare technologies, while reflecting the event’s longstanding legacy in shaping the future of laboratory medicine worldwide. 

Key highlights from this year's show include:

l Record-Breaking Impact: The exhibition is projected to generate over USD 621 million in business value, drawing more than 35,000 industry professionals.

l Dual-Show Access: A combined ticket allowed participants seamless access to both WHX Labs at DWTC and the broader WHX Dubai medical exhibition at DEC.

l Comprehensive Conference: A parallel educational program offered sessions and credits in core disciplines, including lab management, molecular diagnostics, and clinical microbiology.

l Enhanced Digital Tools: The official WHX app streamlined the visitor experience with interactive maps, scheduling, and networking features.

Chinese Exhibition Group

n Double breakthrough in scale and specifications: The Chinese exhibition group made a strong appearance with over 240 enterprises, with leading domestic brands such as SNIBE, Mindray, Sinocare, Wondfo, URIT, Autobio, YHLO, and Maccura and a total exhibition area of 4,700 square meters. The top hospitals formed a "troop" and jointly participated in the overseas exhibition for the first time, achieving a qualitative transformation from "exhibitors" to "rule setters". The event attracted a substantial flow of visitors, and exhibitors reported a noticeable increase in both the number of professional attendees and the quality of audience engagement compared to previous years.

n Ecological overseas expansion reshapes the landscape: The exhibition group simultaneously held a global strategy sharing session for diagnostic equipment and visits to international medical institutions. In the Middle East region, they actively sought overall solutions from equipment procurement to "AI diagnosis technology + full-chain training".

 

WHX Labs Dubai 2026 is not only a showcase of technology, but also a highly efficient and practical global cooperation platform. During the exhibition period, intense business negotiations and strategic alignments continued to take place, and a large number of cooperation intentions were reached on the spot. Cross-border technology transfer and supply chain agreements were successively signed.
