Welcome to our booth, E-361a.

The Hospitalar exhibition (Brazilian International Medical Equipment Exhibition) covers all sectors of healthcare and promotes great business across its entire production chain. It began in 1994.In 2000, it was awarded the "Trustworthy Business Exhibition" title by the US Department of Commerce. It is the most authoritative medical supplies exhibition in Brazil and Latin America. It will showcase the latest medical technology product information and provide manufacturers with the best opportunity to closely interact with consumers, so as to continuously improve medical service quality in today's budget-constrained environment.

Since 2019, this exhibition has officially become an important member of the world-renowned professional exhibition organizer Informa Markets and is part of the life sciences series of exhibitions under Informa Markets, along with the well-known Arab International Medical Equipment Exhibition (Arab Health) and the American International Medical Equipment Exhibition (FIME).

Hospitalar attracted over 1,000 enterprises from Brazil and around the world to participate. Professional visitors came from 70 countries and regions, totaling 90,000 people, including doctors, nurses, hospital management personnel, laboratory staff, hospital equipment manufacturers, distributors, agents, etc. This exhibition undoubtedly serves as an important platform for exhibitors and visitors to explore new business opportunities, consolidate the market, deepen connections, seek business opportunities, and enhance brand influence.

Regarding the host city, Brazil has the world's fourth largest medical population, with 1.8 doctors per 1,000 residents. There are also over 1.5 million nurses and technicians working in this field. Brazil is the 8th largest medical market globally, with a total of 245,000 medical institutions. There are actually 6,800 hospitals, 450,000 hospital beds, 65% of which are public and 35% are private. There are 50 million private medical insurance users, accounting for 25% of the 202 million population. In 2016, there were approximately 12,000 clinical laboratories and 22,000 medical services. This number is still growing rapidly. Compared to Africa and Central Asia regions, the economic development level and purchasing power of South America are higher, and they are willing to pay high prices for high-quality products. The last edition of the São Paulo Medical Equipment Exhibition (HOSPITALAR) had an exhibition area of 82,000 square meters, with 1,365 exhibitors and a total of 90,000 visitors. Besides the exhibition, a medical technology forum will also be held. This is the most important forum for discussing medical issues and will be held together with 54 other exhibitions, seminars and conferences. So generally it is a good trading partner.

The São Paulo Medical Equipment Exhibition (HOSPITALAR) and the Brazilian Dental Exhibition (ODONTOBRASIL) will be held concurrently, showcasing new technologies and related equipment to dentists; Brazilian diagnostics company provides clinic supplies and disease diagnosis tools; HOSPFARMA offers medical products to hospitals and pharmacies; REABILITACAO is the Brazilian Disability Rehabilitation Technology Exhibition, providing products and treatment equipment for the disabled.
